Camplify leverages our schools, summer camps and business community to provide life-based skills in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Similar to the philosophy of "teach a man to fish", Camplify works with kids from 3rd grade through high school using experiential education to teach team work, respectfulness, and critical thinking while building confidence and self esteem. Today's Hendersonville Lightning leads with an article on the history of Rhododendron Lake Nature Park (formerly known as Laurel Park Lake). As the park nears its final stage of construction, the Town Council rolled out opportunities to fund various areas around the park. So many generations have used the park for recreation, swimming lessons and community events, naming opportunities were a natural and fun way to celebrate those memories.
Congratulations to Art of Dance owner Kate Collins! She is extremely motivated, talented and organized. Its great to work with clients that care so much about their customers and are so passionate about what they do. Kate will be opening the Art of Dance Studio in Flat Rock at 576 Upward Road in August. Students will range in age from 3 to adult. Kate teaches ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, abd hip hop and discounts are offered for multiple family members. Read the article here.
